But Mr. Mooney can’t find where Lucy has filed George Burns’ file. When Lucy comes in, she gives a wonderful example of Lucy Carmichael’s scatterbrained filing system. It’s a very funny bit. And it leads to George Burns offering to try her out as his new comedy partner! She doesn’t want to leave, but Mr. Mooney sees this as a golden opportunity. Not only to get rid of the incompetent Lucy, but to make money as her agent!
