Lucy and Miss Shelley Winters – Here’s Lucy season 1
In Lucy and Miss Shelley Winters, Lucy helps a famous actress (Shelley Winters) with her weight loss. It’s a funny episode, as Shelley hides food in a variety of funny places. It’s an homage to Lost Weekend, only with food instead of alcohol. There’s a lot of prop comedy, ending with Lucy having put on weight! Since the only way to keep Shelley from eating was to eat it first!

Funny Quotes
Harry Carter (Gale Gordon): [Catching Lucy singing into his Dictaphone] This is a business office, not Tin Pan Alley!
Lucy Carter (Lucille Ball): Well, uh, Miss Summers, now that you mention it, uh, you have put on a little weight in the past few years.
Shelley Summers (Shelly Winters): A little weight? Honey, they invented Cinemascope to get my hips in the screen!
