While watching the Red Skelton movie, Neptune’s Daughter, I noticed a short scene between Red and Mel Blanc that was a very old clown skit – the whip skit.  It goes something like this:
A young Red Skelton in Montreal, 9/24/1936
Red Skelton on Thanksgiving
Red Skelton's Christmas wish

Red Skelton as his happy hobo clown character, Freddie the Freeloader
Frogs, a poem by Red Skelton, recited by Clem Kadiddlehopper
