Fatty Joins the Force – as a reward for saving the police chief’s drowning daughter, Fatty’s given a position on the police force! Of course, it’s the Keystone Kops, so it’s aa mixed blessing …
Fatty Joins The Force (1913) starring Fatty Arbuckle, Minta Durfee
Fatty Joins the Force is a fairly short Keystone silent comedy, but enjoyable. Fatty does rescue the police chief’s daughter, and is rewarded with a position on the force. No training, mind you. And the neighborhood kids don’t treat him with any respect.
Product Description
This Mack Sennett comedy features comedian Fatty Arbuckle, the fast-rising star of the silent screen era. Fatty saves the police chief’s daughter from drowning and the grateful man offers Fatty a job on the police force. This is no ordinary police force but the Keystone Kops, which gives Fatty plenty of opportunities for his legendary pratfalls and pranks.
