In Bliss, poor-but-honest Harold Lloyd meets Bebe Daniels while walking. Each is smitten with the other, in a very sweet moment. However, her father insists that she marry “nobility”. To the point of beating up and throwing out of the house various rich suitors! So then, a happy coincidence allows Harry to convince him that he’s “Count Rusva”.

Then it’s the father who’s trying to get the two lovebirds to elope! To the point of sending each of them a note, allegedly from the other, asking them to elope! And so a comic elopement occurs.
