Comedy highlights
- Shemp is allegedly in charge of cutting costs – so he pulls out a scissors and cuts Ed’s tie! As punishment, Moe has him unbutton his coat, then Moe cuts one of his suspenders, pulls it back, and releases it to hit Shemp. Which Larry reacts to!
- Moe has Ed help with giving Larry and Shemp the “double zinger”.
- Ed does a bit about how the cold impacted the citrus crop. He shakes a prop tree, and cans of frozen orange juice fall out!
- Moe slaps Larry – who slaps back! After a few rounds of this, Moe turns and slaps Shemp instead!
- Very funny Camel cigarette commercial with William Frawley, who wants a pack of cigarettes from the bottom of the very shaky stack.
- Moe, after squirting ink in Larry’s face, draws an ‘X’ on Shemp’s forehead and stomach. And proceeds to hit him there!
- Ed tries to get rid of the Stooges by locking them in the telephone booth – which doesn’t work.
- After they ruin the “drama” scene, Ed tries to hit them with sandbags from above – which doesn’t work.

- The episode with The Three Stooges and singer Helen Forrest is one of the only episodes still available, and is in the public domain.
