The Usborne Book of Face Painting (How to Make)
by Chris Caudron (Author), Caro Childs (Author), Cheryl Evans (Author), Chris Chaisty (Illustrator)
Before beginning face painting, my wife went through several different books at our public library. This book, The Usborne Book of Face Painting, was her favorite, for several reasons. It spent time on techniques that the other books didn’t, and in addition to the full-face designs that you can see on the cover, it also spent time on some of the smaller designs, such as children would want on their cheeks, hands and wrists, which is really what she was interested in.
The Usborne Book of Face Painting is well written, easy to follow, with lots of photographs, and can allow the rank beginner at face painting to create both mini-designs and full faces that are professional qualityâas my children, (the wifeâs test subjects) can attest. Recommended if youâre interested in getting started in face painting.
