Funny quotes from The Fox Hunt – I Love Lucy
Ricky Ricardo (Desi Arnaz): I have to be nice to my public.
Lucy Ricardo (Lucille Ball): Sure, your pretty, young public. You weren’t being nice to all those ugly old publics sitting around.
Ricky Ricardo (Desi Arnaz): I didn’t ask her to dance. She asked me.
Lucy Ricardo (Lucille Ball): Can’t you say no?
Ricky Ricardo (Desi Arnaz): Of course not, it’s not polite. Don’t forget we’re guests here in London.
Lucy Ricardo (Lucille Ball): You better learn to be rude before we get to Paris.
Lucy Ricardo (Lucille Ball): You know her name!
Ricky Ricardo (Desi Arnaz): Of course, I know her name. So what’s wrong with asking her name?
Lucy Ricardo (Lucille Ball): The first time you danced with me, you asked me my name and look what happened.
Ricky Ricardo (Desi Arnaz): Well everybody makes a mistake once in a while.
Lucy Ricardo (Lucille Ball): [with Britsh Accent] Cherrio!
Lucy Ricardo (Lucille Ball): We’re scheduled to go to the cricket matches this weekend.
Sir Clive: At this time of year? Cricket is out of season.
Lucy Ricardo (Lucille Ball): Well, these are young crickets.
Angela (Hillary Brooke): [about Ricky] He’s a prize.
Lucy Ricardo (Lucille Ball): Yes, well that prize belongs in my box of Cracker Jacks.
Angela (Hillary Brooke): Oh now, Lucy. You’re not going to get into a stew, are you?
Lucy Ricardo (Lucille Ball): You could feed the whole British army on the stew I’m going to get into.
Ricky Ricardo (Desi Arnaz): Lucy, you don’t want to be a moocher, do you?
Lucy Ricardo (Lucille Ball): Just call me “Minnie.”
Fred Mertz (William Frawley): How come we always get hooked into Lucy’s wild schemes?
Ethel Mertz (Vivian Vance): Because we’re a couple of schnooks.
Fred Mertz (William Frawley): Just so I know.
